Data we handle
No Thanks does not require an account and does not operate a server that collects your phrases. Phrases, voice and appearance settings, language choice, widget state, and feature-use counters are stored locally on your device. Android backup is disabled. This data is removed when you clear app data or uninstall the app.
Advertising and consent
The free version uses Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). The app initializes and requests ads only after UMP reports that ads may be requested. Where required, you can revisit your privacy choices from Settings.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses (which can estimate general location), product interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google encrypts this data in transit using TLS. No Thanks disables the Android Advertising ID and AdMob Publisher first-party ID, though Google may process other identifiers under its policies.
Purchases, speech, and system services
Google Play Billing handles Pro purchases. The app checks product pricing and ownership but does not receive or store payment card details. Speech is produced by the device's Android text-to-speech engine. The app does not request microphone access or record audio.
Sharing, retention, and security
Except for processing by the Google services described above, we do not sell or actively share your phrases or settings. Local data remains until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Contact and changes
For privacy questions, use the developer contact shown on the app's Google Play listing. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
